Online Gallery Launched!
Life at the moment seems somewhat surreal. It wasn't long ago when life was different for us all. Moving forward, it will have changed us all too.
My marvellous team have been working hard to bring the online gallery project forward. With the physical gallery temporarily closed, we have adapted to working remotely, and we want to say we are still open and reaching out, inspiring you and saying we are here for you.
It has been exciting photographing our collection to make it more available. I have started with prints and ceramic vessels and intend to keep developing the range over the coming weeks, so do keep checking the site. I am delighted to say we already have nearly 100 art pieces on offer, so there is already plenty to keep you interested.
There is a fantastic collection of prints from Marc Gooderham, including his 'April Skies', which is an image of treelined streets and long afternoons, with pinks illuminating the sky of this suburban scene. And the appropriate print entitled 'The Apartment' for these times where Marc says:
"We live side by side, strangers, yet companions. Empty windows that evoke mystery. Washing hanging on the line indicates life is here, somewhere..."
I have also selected works by Sabina Pieper, which are hand-embellished prints, cityscapes by Marc Gooderham and Rik Ward, and nature-inspired prints by me
The works of ceramicists are also included; Paul Wearing's landscape and sea-inspired vessels, Barry Stedman's vessels, which are paintings on ceramics, Lesley Mcinally's dynamic archaeological and Neolithic graffiti-inspired ceramic, Carys Davies' and Adela Powell's weather, sea and nature-inspired vessels.
I will be offering free shipping to mainland UK and reduced shipping for elsewhere for a limited period. Where there is a charge, it is per order, rather than for each item, up to 4kg in total. So, you order can order multiple items without incurring extra shipping costs.
I am sending love and support to everybody facing uncertainty during these times, and to the people that are working very hard to keep everything going, such as our brilliant doctors, nurses, care and all other essential workers.
In the meanwhile, please enquire about the art you love, and I hope the online gallery will interest you too.
Keep positive, safe, and I hope to uplift you in any way I can now and in the future.
